Bios beeping!
Hi,I build my new computer,install my DVD ROM,CDRW ROM and fooppy drivewhen I first start computer boot very good,every think work OK except floppy drive,but any way I install windows 2000 profesional work good,I starting install video card driver and when I had 90% computer stop working,I did somthing wrong,I know that I suppose to install driver first for my motherboard and I didint,I restart the computer but nothing Bios only beeping same Code first 1 second 8 and later 1 and 2,any body can help me with this problem how I can fix this problem,and why floppy drive not working,floppy is new and setup was OK
Suspect memory.... (memory or system boad) Remember the first 64k must be clean to load post code and boot loader code.
Go back to basicis...
1) set boot seq to a:, c: and bios to defaults.
2) strip it to 1 stick of mem, flpy & video
3) boot to diskette with just the system files
4) Then add in memory 1 stick at a time and test
5) next device and test....

I've got one of these boards and they are pretty good once set up. But they are very fussy about the memory and PSU used. Suggest you browse the threads here:
