BIOS date problem

I am using MotherBoard intel 810E2, it shows the wrong date(some previous date 18/jul/1999) in the BIOS but the correct time in the os(xp), when I try to change the date in the BIOS, it automatically changing to its default date 18/jul/1999. How to solve this?
