I installed new memory after which I cannot boot the operating system. The boot bias seems to work, ie, My CPU is recognized, memory is recognized, Primay and slave drives are recognized and my harddisk is recognized. At this point everything stops. In addition, I cannot enter the bios setup routine. When I request this process the screen responds with a "setup go" entry but the post just continues without entering the setup process and stops at the same place as described above. I wonder if anyone has any idea what's happening at this point, ie, is this a bios problem, a harddisk problem, or a motherboard problem. The place where the post stops is just prior to recognizing my scsi card and booting to windows. I have removed the scsi cards to no effect. Any helpful response appreciated. Harcourt.
