Hey, the other day I tried to update the BIOS and crashed, now when I turn on the pc the screen is black. I think the only solution is to do a BIOS recovery, I've done some research but only found BIOS recovery's instructions for other machines, pc specifications:
Compaq Presario SR5612PT
CPU: AMD Athlon 4450e
RAM: 2GB pc2-6400/DDR2
ROM: 320 GB SATA-3G
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE
The motherboard I think is the M2P61PM-HM (because it was what was referred to this model in compaq updates site)
Could anyone provide me with a link for BIOS Recovery instructions dor this machine, or other information of this machine to be able to search, such as: motherboard model, BIOS, etc..
Thanks in advance,
Rui Miranda

Will try and find out later what brand of bios it has and if recovery is possible.

That is what is reported by the Compaq/HP website. If you want to be 100% sure, open the case and check the board markings.
