Does the description tie up with the Columbia 5/V ? I assume you used the system serial number to identify the board?As the Columbia 5 and Columbia 5P motherboards have different BIOSes, it is important to know how to easily identify them, in order to avoid mis-flashing the BIOS.
Solution
The overview below shows the differences between the two motherboards.
Physical
Columbia 5P has a label in the lower left corner marked NF7 and has a front audio connector
Columbia 5 has a label marked NF5 and does not have a front audio connector.
Components
The Columbia 5P videodriver will list the display adapter as SiS651C.
The Columbia 5 videodriver will list SiS650/651 instead.
BIOS
BIOS of Columbia 5P shows 8SIMLNF-NF7 in the main BIOS screen.
BIOS of Columbia 5 shows no code in the main BIOS screen.
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
