Block Boot on Award Bios

I just got a new ECS (EliteGroup) KT600-A Motherboard for my AMD Athlon 2700+. I got it all setup have all the pieces in place and booted up the pc to check to see if all the device register correctly and I get this:

Award BootBlock Bios v1.0
Copyright (c) 2000, Award Software Inc.

Bios Rom Checksum error

Please insert System disk....

I have made a system disk and it then says:

Detecting Floppy Drive A media....

Drive Media is : 1.44mb

and sits there for hours doing nothing.

I have made a disk with the newest flash update for this board and it says the same.

I made it with and autoexec file to tell it to boot with the flash update and it still does nothing.

Anyone else have any other ideas?

Try clearing CMOS first.
