I kinda missflashed my bios for gigabyte ga-7ixe4....
the bios boots up fine so far... i can enter the bios and change the settings and so on. but when the bios is about to "beep" and go to the OS it just hangs (it says "Wait..." and doenst react anymore)
i got the old bios on floppy, so if i can find a way to activate the boot-block all my problems will be gone.
i tried resetting the cmos, booting with failsafe-settings, removed all cards except graphic-card.... nothing worked

What do you mean misflashed? Used the bios for a wrong board?

My only way out was to hot flash with Uniflash in another mobo.
