When I start the computer it just tells me:

Award BootBlock Bios v1.0

BIOS ROM checksum error

Detecting floppy drive A media....
Drive A error. System halt.

Have tried to put a bootable disk into drive A but with no luck. The drive does not search the disk or anything else. I am worried. How to get the BIOS working again??? I think, that the BIOS code might have been lost leaving only the "BootBlock" intact. Help!?!

You will need a bootable disk... and the bios falsh file. In some case you will have to rename the flash file... example: abcde.bin to abcde.rom

If you have more than one memory stick installed test with only one stick installed !
If you have faulty memory you may get this message too .
(Part of Bioscode is copied into RAM and then a checksum test is executed - if this fails : Bios ROM Checksum Error) .
