Attempted to flash Bios with Asus update utlity in windows. Utility informed that flash failed. Didnt think nothing of it untill I later rebooted.
No beeps,no video, board has power, heatsksink and hard drive were working.
Yes I reset cmos. Yes I took out the battery.
Any other options besides replacing bios chip?

I have the same problem with my Asus A7N8X motherboard.
There was no indication that i used an incorrect bios, however, system fails to perform POST check. Hard drive whirs into action, AGP card in or memory in or out makes no beep.
Help plz would be appreciated.

You can try to find a friend who has the same motherboard, and to flash your bios by hotswapping: Start the computer of your friend in Dos mode, remove the chip, put your chip in and flash the Bios. It should also work even if your friend doesnt have the same motherboard, but for me it didnt work. In this case, use Ami (universal) flash utility or Uniflash, but now I remember that these utility wont recognize the A7N8X's chip (flash is impossible).
