I flashed the bios on my Abit BH7 board using Abit's Windows utility. Flashing went fine....no errors.

Now when i turn on the computer it turns of after 3 seconds. I have tried resetting the bios, removing the battery and so on but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Just a thought - are you sure the CPU fan is plugged in to the correct header and is operational ?

OMG you're right!!!

My computer is watercooled and so i dont need a cpu fan. I actually think that bios has a feature of shutting down my computer if it doesn't detect a cpu fan running.

I better get a cpu fan connected....then I should be able to disable that feature.

Anyway......you'll never guess what I've been doing today! I went over to a pal of mine who ows an eeprom burner to get my bios flashed. OMG....all this trouble for nothing 8O

Thanks a lot mate :D
