defective bios flash eprom on acer C112 tablet
My tablet is dead after flashing in it the new bios version (downloaded from ACER). I found that the problem was in the defective flash eprom that can't be written anymore. The chip id is SST-49LF004A-33-4C-WH in TSOP package and it's soldered on the system board. So I'm trying to find this chip, reflash it and replace the defective one. Since it's very difficult to find this chip as a spare part my idea is to buy an used motherboard that have the same chip on it. But, again, the chip id is not usually mentioned in the motherboard specifications. So, does anyone know if this chip is used on others motherboard? Please help! Any suggestion is welcome!
