Trying for 2 years to install Windows XP.
This board has me so crazy, I was this close to throwing it out the window!
Ran MS Windows Upgrade Advisor - no conflicts.
Reformatted HD. Did clean install of Windows XP. After XP did not load, booted up in Safe Mode. In Event Viewer, many ACPI & VSS errors.
Reinstalled XP. During setup, bypassed HAL installation; when asked about RAID & SCSI drivers, hit F6 (F5, F7 got no result) and chose "Standard PC". After installation, XP still did not load. Back in Safe Mode, Event Viewer showed NO ERRORS!! Only a warning about "COM+ Event System failed to fire the ConnectionMade method...".
There were no errors or conflicts in the Device Manager.
DFI tech support/forum was not helpful.
Is there anyone out there that can help me? :(

IIRC yes...from info posted by other users at the K6Plus forum.

Check there just to be sure.
