Hi,

Is it possible for someone to point in the direction of where to acquire this bios? neither emachines has it anymore (long and wasted email chats with them regarding this issue) and FIC has inccorrect bios for this proprietary board. I currently have one with messed up address lines that can only boot with our Ultra-x card in fored mode and a customer needs this board, would like to save them the money of purchasing a new turd of like name.

Thank you.

Hi,

Emachines model S1940. Must be a real weird one with all those on your FTP site and this thing not one of them.

Never imagined a proper Bios image would be so difficult to locate on a fairly recent board.

Thanks again,

was on email chat with various reps for emachines regarding this issue and they do not supposedly have the proper image for it anymore, instead they pointed to a new board instead for a simple file to fix it.

I finally got it out of one of the Emachines Reps that the bios was removed from their website and not put back up during a makeover. Just another great reason for people such as yourself to keep handy links to difficult and hard to locate images for companies (such as Emachines) that are notorious for less than decent driver support.

The S1940 page that you linked to so kindly shows every driver except the bios pretty much which was the reason that I started the 8-10 email dialoque with various Emachines Reps that they finally stopped responding to, gateway will not respond either.

Thank you very much Kuriaki for attempting to help with this image. If by chance am able to locate this through one of my colleaques, i will gladly share it with you if you like for the next person in need.

Thanks again,
Silver
