error 10: bios id error???

my motherboard gigabyte ga8simlp.

to solve xp shuttingdown problem i tried to update my bios version f4 to f6 using @bios program that gigabyte's bios updater program.

it downloaded and flashed new bios and. after that i restarted and boom, my system can only bootblock.

anyway i tried to flash bios with program that i downloaaded gigabyte's site named flash864, and when i run it after bootblock,

its not flashing the bios file and gives error:

error 10: bios id error

also with some information

chipset: sis
flash part: winbond
flashtype:49f002u
filename:8simlp.f6
checksum:fc3e

chechsum code tellling the problem maybe?but i dunno what does fc3e means..

what's the meanings of ithese?
but im sure im flashing correct bios file because their names 8simlp.f4(old one), 8simlp.f6 (my mb model is ga 8simlp)

what i must do know? how to flash new bios please heeelp?

if bootblock flash doesn't work options are hot-flashing or http://www.badflash.com

have you contacted Gigabyte tech support with your question?
