The battery went dead. I replaced it but now it turns on and no video. It seems that if I pull the jumper off completely and have the 3.5 floppy in there I might be able to recover. I can't find the bloody disk, if there ever was one. Any options here?

the bios ID for that one is GB85010A.15A so you need to find the bios update floppy for one of that series. Note there is a GB85010A.86A too, but that is for an Intel retail version of this board, don't use that.

Thank you for the info. However the 3.5 floppy is not being recognized. I even tried the drdflash thingie as well. And I tried to put it on a CD since that light initially blinks. I apologize for being in over my head. Could the hard have failed and caused this problem?

Intel motherboard ATXSTF P04 700C 0026144888 4000779 MIC N232 E210882 FW82 8818A GB85010A.15A

I have become quite intimate with the innards of this machine. May it rest in peace.

Anyone need some PC800 memory sticks? Or an ATI video card. Seems a shame to waste them.

you want to put those RIMMs and the filler sticks on ebay. You'll be surprised to see what you can get for them...
