I had the unfortunate mishap during updating my bios today rendering my system dead.
I have read the intel forums and I can't seem to get any response.
Here is where I am at
I downloaded the latest bios for my DZ77BH55K mb from intel website
All I downloaded was the .bio file and he copied it to a freshly formatted 8gb flash drive fat 32
I removed the jumper and plugged in the flash drive,
When I power on my system it just keeps turning on and off every few seconds.
What is abusing this ? Or is my mb really dead now.

Thanks
Steven

This .BIO file? Is this a RETAIL Intel board, not one from an OEM system like Gateway/Dell/Packard Bell/Sony?

Do you have the option to use a CD? It's possible the flash drive is not picked up properly by the bios.
