Hi Scotty.

I have just bought the same motherboard from E-bay, any idea where I can get a manual for it as I need to put a processor/fan/memory on this thing ....

Mark.

If the connector is named "P5", check out page 143 in http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/suppo ... a-wwen.pdf

I was in the very same situation, that info was VERY hard to find. Darn HP! Darn Compaq!

hi,

i have the same problem. but i have had that manual before and connected the power switch to P5 pin 6&8 according to the manual. i still have no success to start the computer. if i force the powersupply to deliver power by putting the "power on" on GND i have the keyboard light flashing up and the 2 LED's on the mainboard, but still no system start. any help would be great.
