Hello everyone!

This is actually my very first post here but you guys seem to be the most active forum related to bad BIOS flashes.

A few days ago in an attempt to fix some sound card popping on my ASUS P5N32-SLI SE DELUXE I was told to update my BIOS so while doing so it stopped responding and rebooted on me. Now I have no post and a totally hosed MB. :(

So all I have available to me is an ASUS A8N-SLI DELUXE which happens to use an award bios so in my attempt to hotflash my chip I got messages that after looking up on the web I found to be related to the fact that I cant flash an AMI on a system that booted from an award BIOS.

So I tried using UniFlash hoping it would force flash the BIOS chip and it wont detect my chip, however the award flaser reads it perfectly after the hot swap but wont flash it of course.

The chip I need to flash is: W39V080APZ

If someone could please help me out I'd appreciate it. I can't currently afford to buy a new motherboard.

Thank you for your time.
