Hello.

My Asrock P4VM800 suffered a "bad flash" well actually the power went out during flashing (total freak outage, downed telephone poll).

Should of had it hooked up to UPS :(

Never hot-flashed but I'm extremely computer hardware (and software) literate.

Should I use uni-flasher?

Also whether I use uni-flasher or something else, do I have to re-name the bios file from P4VM80_1.60 to something else.

Thanks in advance for any help provided. :)

http://www.uniflash.org has both the tool and the info. Check if uniflash is compatible with the transfer board chipset and if there are any gotcha's for the bios chip.

Thanks.

The transfer board is a MSI k7n420 (n-force2) so it looks like to me, uniflasher "might" work...

Any other ideas?
