Thank you for your help:

Motherboard M6VBE Vers 1.1/1.2
Award Modular Bios V 4.51PG
Biostar M6VBE with VIA 693 North Bridge, 2A6LG Via Apollo Pro Plus (692/596) Chipset, B0 Biostar

I flashed the BIOS with AWDFLASH.EXE (11/18/1999-693-596-8671-2A6LGB09C-00) and Programmed with the correct BIOS-Update from http://wims.rainbow-software.org/rainbo ... %20693.zip :

BUT FORGOT THE SWITCHES /CC/F after "AWDFLASH.EXE"!

Saved the oldbios, pressed F1
But after Reset there is no VGA-Signal!

What can I do?

Thanks for your replies.

If CMOS clearing is the problem
- Is there a "clear CMOS" jumper ?
- If not, remove the battery for a while and short the contacts for good measure.
- If there is no battery (some boards have an integrated CMOS chip and battery) and the board will boot from diskette look for a "CMOS clear" program on the net which will do more than the first 256 bytes..

If bad flash/wrong BIOS is the problem:
- Does the board try to boot from FDD ?
- Is there an ISA slot into which you could try putting an ISA VGA card ?
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.

Sorry for the delay, had to work the weekend.

Yes, the M6VBE-A is with 693A chipset.

There is "clear CMOS Jumper"! But I think, the BIOS was not programmed in the right way!
The board does not try to boot from FDD and there is only PCI-slots.

As I said - completely wrong Bios .
Visit www.badflash.com or www.flashbios.org to get a new chip or get your chip reprogrammed with the correct file .
You'll find a patched M6VBE-A Bios one click below the wrongly selected M6VBE 693 Bios .
