Hey first post here -
DESPERATE for help!
My husband and I were working on a desktop HP a1210n, adding memory, and in order to do that we had to install a "critical" BIOS update 3.07-3.15 from HP website. We did that. It said everything was fine, installed beautifully, blah blah blah - restart and ... NOTHING. No post no boot. just the fan runs. We have tried pulling out and putting in battery power cord, etc. We are doing this for a client, and our reputation is obviously at stake here. Even called HP which we knew would be worthless, and was. Any ideas?
PLEASE HELP!
thanx

remove the added memory, leave just one stick of memory in. I think this board has a clrcmos or clr_nvram switch somewhere, use that.
if still no help, remove the cmos battery for 10 minutes keeping the system unplugged from mains also. if that does not help we'll have to do a bios recovery but I'll have to dig up some stuff first.
This is the motherboard inside,

there's loads of other people that updated their bios on it and some of them have had similar issues.
