Hello any help would be much appreciated

I Have an Samsung P28 (NP28) laptop without a floppy drive,

I have a typical dead machine, the computer seems to be working with HDD fans spinning, LED are lit , The CD rom led lights up and the draw opens, also there is NO video from LCD or an external monitor.

I have done a boot strap approch and swaped all components with working ones but still no luck(INC cmos clear).

So I am going to try a flash the bios,

Because I have a dead system Booting from CD or Floppy would not Be an option as nothing happens when media is insteted.

Here is my bios chip

SST49LF004B
4 Mbit Firmware Hub

I have read posts that you can jumper the bios to reprogram itself, I have read the PDF (http://www.sst.com/products.xhtml/seria ... ST49LF004B) and I can see that this chip has a boot block ulility but need you techie brains to find out which pins to jumper.

There are two bios chips on the board and discribed in the PDF, and It was getting a little confusing on which one does what.

Any help or clues would be Awsome
