My computer using a soyo motherboard, pentium III, etc. when turned on during a hot humid day loaded fully into windows xp then reset itself giving me a checksum error on the restart. I turned the computer off then I tried to turn it back on monitor remained completely blank.
Computer wont give POST beep and ususally gives error beep soyo says is bad power supply or BIOS corruption.
Removed bios battery, jumped bios jumper, no luck. Do computer stores do bios flashing? Or do I have to send it to SOYO? I dont think its powersupply, since light on mobo is on. Have no way to check though. I'm thinking its a terminal mobo error because I told it to disregard the checksum yet it still continued to worsen.
