But another problem occured: I partitioned the new drive with the "lifeguard-tool" and after re-booting the message occured (I try to translate it in English): Windows security allert. Please restart your computer. ...

The update you meant is only for ct-esa2-fxxx, not for mine (ct-esa2-e100n). So i'm sure my board won't take it.

My motherboard's id is: ct-6esa2
I still have the latest bios-update (06/04/1999) running on my computer.
What can I do?

my BIOS doesn't detect my new (second) Harddrive (WD 400EB 40,2 GB EIDE Ultra DMA/100).
