Anyway, I used the utility by Rom.by and it now detects the 40GB HD. Any reply is still very much appreciated. Rega...

Thankz for the reply Ritchie. Actually I made the 80Gb as slave and the Western Digital(45Gb) as primary where the OS, application, etc.. is situated. The problem(MEMORY DUMP ETC..by a certain .sys file of the modem driver) occurs only when ever I'm connected to the internet. It is the bug causes by...

Anyway, I'd use the bios patcher by apple_rom and it did now detects the 80G maxtor HD. But there's an error message in Win2k(SP4) somewhere in the 'physical memory' after t...

Thankx again nicks, This board does not need a flash utility. It only needs a bios bin file, to be renamed as AMIBOOT.ROM in the floopy disk(not bootable will do). Those two bin file from biostar site causes my system not to boot(blank screen) and it seems the floopy keeps on reading as the led on(a...

M6VBE-A detects 128MB out of 256MB of ram
Hi,
This is not a bx board(may be a bx technology). The 256MB ram i just bought has 8 chip. Is this still a chipset limitation? or I have to replace it with 16 chip 128MBit technology or two 128MB(8 chip) stick either. Is there any bios fix on this? Thanks for any response.
