PhoenixBIOS
GC.M1.03

30GB and 40GB HDDs not detected

Used Uniflash to save the BIOS, it is 128 kB, BIOS chip AMIC A29040L-70
Will send this file if needed

Please fix :) thank you

EDIT: Noticed that the latest BIOS is

GC.M1.63 , 1.63 , 11 Jul 2001
New features
1. Implement Battery calibration in BIOS
2. Add PIII CPU D0 stepping support.
3. Add SXGA+ panel support.
Fixed issues
1. Improve the flicker on HPA panel.

However I doubt it contains support for the larger harddrives as it was released in 2001 ???

EDIT:
Flashed to GC.M1.63 and saved with Uniflash. File is 512 KB and seems to open in Phoenix BIOS Editor. Got no clue what to do from here though

EDIT:
Beware the M1.63 BIOS, it fails to boot from HDD (CD works). May need to reflash back to .03

3. After the BIOS update is complete, remove the AC adapter to manually reset the machine.
Did you do this after the bios update?
