ACER TM 5142 dead after bios upgrade

Hi!
After the upgrade made in windows enveironment the computer did not work anymore! The old version was 1.70 and the new on is 2.20D. Anybody have an ideia how do wake up this nottebook? He is new. I did evreything right. Can we flash the BIOS whith a diferent ACER switsshing the EPROM after the power on in DOS and then flash it again?
