hi. i have this laptop here, with the harddisk newly upgraded to 160gb.
but when installing windows, it only recognizes 128gb. it is possible to mod/patch the bios to recognize the full capacity?

It's not possible for us to mod Phoenix Bios. But as the HDD is at least recognized as 128 GiB, space above that size should be accessible via Windows or Linux. IT should show up as non-partitioned area in the windows disk manager

ok, i'm using windows 7 x86. during install itself, the installation only detects 128gb.
after installation has completed and windows has loaded, computer management still shows the harddisk as 128gb. no signs of any unpartitioned space whatsoever.
any recommendations?
