does anyone know how to access the bios on my compaq armada 1750 please, F10 esc and del do not work

F10 should work. Or maybe F1.

F10 is the standard button to use when accessing the BIOS.
f10 used to work on my machine with the default (win98) operating system. doesn't work for any more, since I deleted that small primary diagnostics partition or whatever that was.
machine works fine, just the bios seems unacessable..

So the question is - Have you recently formatted the hard drive? Installed another OS?

Yes i have formatted the hard drive and put win 98 back in, does this make a difference?

um yeah as the diagnostic partition has been wiped out you need to reinstall the info.
