My computer is an HPa1640n using a P5BW-LA mother board. I tried to update the bios but its hung during the process and I reboot my system after that I getting this screen and error message:

BIOS ROM checksum error
Detedting IDE ATAPI device...
Found CDROM, try to Boot from it...Fail
Detedting floppy drive A media...
INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESSS ENTER
Could some body help to fix this issue? I already tried to reset CMOS but nothing happen and I am still getting the same response.

If so, contact HP technical support. You are going to need a floppy disk with the Award bios image file on it in order to fix this.
