i have a clevo 2800t i guess i is a sis chipset and the notebook always went into suspend mode as i can see the light blinking and it wont even startup even i press any key or restart.. i manage to start it after i plug out the hdd and then put it back but it repeated some after occasion..
the final thing i did was removing the bios battery and now it was dead.. i mean it wont even boot up... is there anyway i can master reset this? god in a dilemma now.

Also, do remember that not too many people are laptop-owners, as compared to standard PCs, so support in this subforum is relatively slower than in the others.

Check to make sure your suspend sensor switch (usually at the base of the display) is not stuck down..

...or even stuck right inside as my daughter did to my wife's Toshiba laptop....
