i have a Dell Latitude CPi D266XT
need an update for my bios i think i've got the oldest one and maybe it causes my sound problem in win 2000 "your device don't have enough recources"
plz help me

YAY i got it now got a cool D3LL boot screen in my bios, other than that, it in order to the sound to work i disabled the printer port and infrared and then it windows 2000 sent the sound to use the freed resources. dunno why but it plays now :D

btw the d3LL site was complicated, i clicked on the download from ftp, and changed the web adress from ...txt to ...exe and it was there

also i used my old columbia BX flash floppy to run the flashing program because the .exe wasn't extracting or bootable at all

anyways i solved my problem thanks to your link thanks once again
