Hi all,

Laptop Fujitsu XI1554 is set by the manufacturer in bios limit memory 2GB RAM. This laptop has Phoenix bios. Chipset this laptop Intel 945PM in hardware support 4GB RAM. Also Fujitsu XI1554 bios support NVIDIA and ATI graphics card. Currently I have in this laptop NVIDIA graphics card.

I found on the internet that laptop Fujitsu XI1554 is exactly the same Alienware m5750 and Alienware m5790. Alienware m5750 and m5790 in bios support 4GB RAM. Unfortunately Alienware m5750 and m5790 in bios support only ATI graphics card.

I have a request - could someone unlock in Fujitsu bios 4GB RAM support???

Both are based on the Uniwill P72. Here's someone with the exact Amilo XI1554 using an Alienware bios:

and still has an nVidia card in there. I think your safest bet is flashing the Alienware M5790 bios on your Amilo:

however, pay attention with this:
Important notice: Remove any BIOS passwords before upgrading and rebranding, or else you may get locked out from your own notebook.

edwin, Currently I have in this laptop NVIDIA graphics card.

On Fujitsu bios with 2x2GB RAM and NVIDIA graphics card laptop doesn't start (resets all the time) - start only with 1x2GB RAM.

On Fujitsu bios with 2x2GB RAM and ATI graphics card laptop doesn't start (resets all the time) - start only with 1x2GB RAM.

On Alienware bios version 2.07W and 1.19W with 2x2GB RAM and NVIDIA graphics card laptop doesn't start (black screen).

On Alienware bios version 2.07W and 1.19W with 1x2GB RAM and NVIDIA graphics card laptop doesn't start (black screen).

On Alienware bios version 2.07W and 1.19W with 2x2GB RAM and ATI graphics card laptop start normally.

Only Alienware bios version 2.07W and 1.19W support 4GB RAM. Alienware bios version 2.06W support only 2GB RAM.

I have 64-bit OS.

I need the modified Fujitsu bios in order to use 2x2GB RAM and NVIDIA graphics card.

I renew - can anyone help me mods Fujitsu bios???

In advance thanks very much for help
