I have an HP Pavilloin dv9408. I just upgraded my memory to 2 gig. While the timings are right 4-4-4-4-12 2t, the speed is only 300Mhz instead of 333Mhz. I popped in the original 512Mb mem modules and they too is running at 300Mhz. I have a home built desktop that I have EVERYTHING overclocked to the bleeding edge but this is my first laptop so I'm a litttle lost as there are no speed options available in the BIOS. Is there anything I can do? BTW it's a Phoenix BIOS.
Thanks,
John

Well I was able to use Ntune to up my core bus speed to 224Mhz. My CPU is running at 2Ghz now and the memory is at 333. I just need to keep an eye on the temps for a while to make sure I'm not slow roasting the CPU.
