I need to update my bios but I fear I'm going to destroy my computer by doing this.
I tried to identify my bios version, and after some research I think I found something useful but I'm not sure.

This is what I did :
turned on my computer
pressed f2 , and a blue screen appeared
in this screen I found these information:

AMIBIOS
Version: 202
VGA BIOS Version: 010.07.000.000.000.A19125.006
EC BIOS Version: 2000120001

there were also some other information about cpu and memory but I didn't write them down...
I will post them here if they're needed to update the BIOS

Please help I don't know what else I have to do and where I can update the BIOS :(

Not really much information to work with.
Is this a desktop computer, a laptop or something else ?
Manufacturer/model of your computer ?

Why do you want to update your Bios at all ?

I need to update the bios because I need to run a program which I work with. Anytime it starts I get the BSOD screen. I updated all the drivers and my computer exceeds the minimum requirements asked to run this program.

Here's the BIOS Scan information

BIOS Type: AMI
BIOS Date: January 14th 2008
BIOS ID: 64-0100-009999-00101111-011408-Crestline-M50SA001
BIOS OEM: BIOS Date: 01/14/08 Ver: 202 - 202
Chipset: Intel 2A00 rev 3
SuperIO: Unknown
Manufacturer: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
Motherboard: M50SA

I went to http://support.asus.com/download/Downlo ... uage=en-us, typed "m50sa" in the "search" box and downloaded the latest BIOS update then I downloaded the "BIOS utility" AFLASH2.exe .
The problem is that AFLASH2 runs in DOS environment and I work on a laptop which has no floppy drive...

I really need help, I'm stuck until I can make it work...
