Hi
I've done a stupid thing. I'm tying to sort out a problem with a friends laptop and they asked if I could get rid of the BIOS boot password.
What I've done is enter a new password of [enter] ie. a carriage return, instead of disabling the password option.
Now when I boot, I get the password entry screen, but can't get past it as it doen't recognise "enter" (CR) as a valid password.
My only guess is that is has transalted the carriage return into something else. I've tried 13 as this is ASCII for CR but with no luck.
Can anyone help ?
Thanks
