I had a problem with the Battery not Registering its charge accurately, so I downloaded and Flashed the BIOS for this Samsung sens Pro 500. The Download came from Samsung's website. The BIOS version is 07E, Phoenix NoteBIOS v.4.05. Now Windows 95B States that the PCMCIA Cardbus Controllers are disabled in Hardware. The BIOS has NO Settings to Enable/Disable PCMCIA. I need a Working BIOS that will give me back PCMCIA functionality, and I need it ASAP. PLEASE HELP! The Computer is a Client's.
Found a Solution. The 07E BIOS is Compatible with Windows 98 SE. Upgraded to 98SE, but had to tell windows not to use the Inf files from the Windows 95B PCCARD update. It still had the pci.vxd version 4.00.12xx loading after the upgrade. IRQ steering was the issue. Version 4.10.2222 of pci.vxd works just fine.
