SONY PCG-505TL failed bios update--stuck

i have a the ultraslim sony (PCG-505TL)with the docking port and i wanted to update to windows xp. so i went to teh sony webpage and downloaded the updates. when i went to flash the bios it went to 70 percent complete and went to a black screen. i tried restarting, does not load up, black screen, but the computer does seem to turn on and make a few noises. any help as to what i should do from here would be apreeciated, thanks.

If it's a proprietary SONY BIOS, they you can only resort to SONY's tech support.

You're stuck. I wish I had a better answer for you. Unfortunatly you have two options.

or call sony and buy a new motherboard.
