I've been trying to find a solution to this on the net for a while.
Basically, a BIOS update went bad, etc... and I'm trying to use Phoenix Bios Crisis on my VAIO FE690P. I've tried all of the normal hotkeys, Fn + B, Win + Esc, etc. with a USB Floppy Drive and there is no activity. My guess is that Sony, in their usual fashion, decided to make it non-standard and proprietary. They also don't like to publish service manuals, either...
Anyone know if Sonys have a hotkey at all or possibly a jumper somewhere on the motherboard?
Sony VAIO Motherboard Dead...
Hello,
Am plagued with a similar problem. Did you find the key combination to access the Boot Block of your Sony?
The usual Fn + B Win + B etc do not work.
Grateful if you can help bring my Vaio FE31Z back from being a brick to life
