AFAIK 48 Bit LBA is not related to hardware but to software (Bios or driver). As long as the HDD is detected as 128GB in Bios users with Linux or W2K/XP with recent service packs should be able to access space beyond 128GB via the Operating system. Hard one -> 160gb in 06/19/2001-694x-686B-6A6LJL7BC-00
OK so I've looking all over the internet and I need help upgrade to 48-bit lba in my bios. It's code is 06/19/2001-694x-686B-6A6LJL7BC-00 and it's award version 6.00PG. If anyone could help me out I would be eternally greatful.
