Guess I'm stuck with this oem piece of crap. Well, it's not crap, but I can't overclock it.

Thank you so much for your help so far, Borg Number One :D Will downloading the tool help me to modify my own BIOS so that I can access the settings I want to access? Would you reccommend doing that since I have absolutely no experience in such matters? Is there another BIOS I can use, or something ...

I don't know how you're managing to view those switches, because they just aren't there when you access the BIOS from my computer (from boot, not using a BIOS modding prog) I have that exact BIOS that is highlighted and I can be 100% sure when I tell you that those features are simply not accessible...

Thank you so much for your reply Borg Number One :D My Sony is a VGC RA104, purchased in the UK. Looks like the board is the same as the RA60/61 &RA70/71 I have the current BIOS update (version 1003) provided by sony-europe at www.vaio-link.com. Believe me - there are no options in the BIOS to tweak...
