I have lowered the HTT to 3 so that I don't exceed 800Mhz but the AGP/ PCI bus just keeps on going up where it should change when I hit 225. I test it using 'Clockgen'. I can overclock my system clock upto 290 when lowering my HTT to 3x but my AGP is @91 and my PCI is @ 48 which is way to fast (isn't) it. This is why i'm worried. I like overclocking as my old friend 'Kachiwachi' will tell you, so I would like to solve the AGP/PCI thing
Hi old friend, 'long time no speak', it's been a long time since the days of my legendary journey of o/c'ing my K6 (Happy times they were) anyway I have moved on and have now built myself a SKT 754 Sempron 64 2800 on an ASUS K8V SE Deluxe. Don't think much of it at the moment. I'm only scoring 190 on CpuMark 99
My old Athlon XP 2800+ would score 225 so the performance of this new pc is poor in comparison. But if I can o/c it stable I should be hitting arond 250 points
Speeak to you soon my friend, I'm off to solve the riddle of my AGP/PCI thing.
