I'm having a problem with Asus P5RD1-VM when using a PCI-E video adapter (a Sapphire HD-3450) and 2x1Gb memory: the systems gets very sluggish... I'm using the last bios they released (v. 1104 @ http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/soc ... M/1104.zip).

If I take out one of the memories (it can be any one of them, and I can use the other one in any slot -- I mean: the memories and the slots are ok), the system is normal and relatively fast (considering it's running with half the RAM); and in this scenario, the video adapter also works well.

In Asus forums, there are many people with this problem, with many different video adapters and memories, and according to them it's a bios issue, but Asus hasn't released a new version since 2006.

Any workaround for this? Thanks.
