Hi all, i have this nagging question i can not seem to get answered and i'm hoping some of the knowledgeable people here might assist.

I have a DFI mainboard and found the bios that goes with it but one thing i can not understand is the difference between REV A1 and REV B1 .. i know it must be a revision (aka a newer model mainboard) but trying to find the right bios makes things so complicated.

If anyone would care to look at my bios page from DFI at THIS SITE and tell em if i can use a rev b bios or not?

Thank you big time for even reading the post.

(ps i did upgrade to the last known REVa version and that went ok)

Is the PCB version.
'Download the appropriate BIOS update from the Download section according to the motherboard model and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) revision. The revision of motherboard can be checked from the lower right corner of label affixed on printer port. For aged motherboards, please find the label on the last ISA slot. You can take the first digit after "R." as PCB Revision. For example, the PCB revision is "A" if the revision of motherboard is marked as "R.AG0".'
More than 100,000 BIOS strings in my database just now!
