Hello guys!

I badly need your help! I have some old pentium II 400 and I need to upddate my bios for xp support and large HD.

I have this information with CTBios utility

Thanx a lot ajzchips for your fast reply and for link! I have just one guestion,becouse I never flash this type of motherboard.I read some stuff in this forum,but I like to be shure,if I'am fail the board will be dead :oops:

Which utils do I need for this exe and how can I upgrade correct?

Can I use uniflash 1.33 for my board?


Sorry for this guestion,but I do one mistake in bios a few years ago :oops:

Hi ajzchips!

I miss your post when you try to help some other guys:
Double click on the file. It'll either create a bootdisk for you, or decompress some files into a directory of your choice.
If the latter case, then create a boot disk and copy the files onto it.
I have bootup diskete now,so I try to update my bios !I hope everithing will be fine :roll:

ajzchips, I have sucesfull update the bios and work nice!
When I flash the bios and restart computer I load bios defoult.In this computer I have instaled windows me now and I have only one problem.
When I choose shut down the computer only restart and never shut down.

I think I must set some funkcion in bios,but I don't know which one.
Can you help me again?

Windows ME? Are both ACPI and APM enabled? Did Windows ME install as ACPI? (Check your Windows Device Manager).

Those shutdown-reboots are very frequently bios-related, so I wouldn't give up yet.

When I'am in safe mode and turn computer off I have no problem and the computer turn off sucesfull,but in normal mode just restart,maybae something wrong with windows......?

does exist any programme to copy all bios settings?

Today I just install windows xp in this computer and I must say that everithing work well now-even shut down :lol:

so,I just like to thanx ajzchips again for correct update file!
