There is no Duron 1200+ - only a 1200

I have been there but new BIOS. I wrote to eSupport, they quoted me US$24.85 for a new BIOS. Is there anywhere else?

Have you tried the Beta Sector at DFI ?

But a Duron 1200 should be supported with your Bios - newer Duron 1400 and up not as they use 133MHz FSB

I have not tried. I will visit the site to check it out. BTW, it is safe to try the beta version? My current BIOS does not allow overclocking. That's what makes me unhappy about the board.

Duron 950 max.

Latest regular is 2001/11/05
http://www.dfi.com.tw/Upload/BIOS/AK74EC1105.ZIP
No mentioning of enhanced CPU support for any of the revisions.

Latest beta is 2002/06/12
http://www.dfi.com.tw/Upload/BIOS/BAK746121.zip
Description
1.Support HDD Size over 136GB. 2.Fix using Fdisk utility then HDD always reports 8GB.
No mentioning of enhanced CPU support. So, Duron 950 it is.
