I am running a PC with an

BIOS: 11/15/1999-SiS-620-2A6ING5AC-00 Award Software International, Inc. 4.51 PG v1.01

MANUFACTURER: NEC-FR520

VERSION: 1.0

I have found in the bios and board string Id the mobo maker is identified as GVC however I don't know why the model is NEC. I have been unable to recently find a bios update at the GVC site it appears to have changed company names.

The NEC FR520 is an entirely different board than yours, with a SiS530 chipset and socket7:

where did you find the link between your bios string and this FR520 stuff?

You have a SiS620 board that may have been used in a Packard Bell or NEC system as well. It sounds like the "Skye" motherboard, a GVC DR724 aka BCM IN620:

Well my appologies for the incorrect info :? , I must have gotten the board info incorrect from a website with the same chipset included on a different board. Using a flashlight FR520 was nowhere to be discovered on the board. I was able to discover the actual board maker from the bios string 6&7 character from the bios string 2A6IN(SIS) G5 identifying it as GVC now Liteon or something and can't seem to find a bios flash, although before I had been able to download a flash and view a photo diagram of the board from the board maker.
