Hi i'm new to this forum just wanted to see if anyone might be able to help me. I updated my bios but it didn't update right and for some odd reason i'm unable to reflash everytime I try it gives me an error. My floppy drive works i'm able to enter the bios even run win xp but i'm having stability issues and need to reflash my bios. The motherboard I have is a DFI NF3 250GB any ideas or suggestions please I have tried just about all the flash utilities I could find no luck. Thx

I also get some kind of mismatch error saying i'm trying to flash the wrong bios? That is incorrect i'm trying to flash the right bios but won't let me flash.

Using the Unicore BIOS Wizard it says BIOS ID: Unknown, BIOS Date: 12/14/04, BIOS Type: Phoenix, Super I/O: ITE 8712F rev 6 found at port 2Eh, Chipset AMD 1100 rev 0
That is all I know other than this SST 49LF004A
Any other utility or program I have tried to use for identification has same problem.

It would seem I have installed a version of Bios from BioStar on my DFI by accident the Bios is for a NF3 250GB just a little differant version. Everything still runs but now the system will ocasinally lock up after running for an extended period of time usally if I let it go to screensaver. The Bios is for the NHA1214 BS Grand Motherboard from biostar now I need to figure out how to reflash with the correct bios.

I think you need to reprogram your BIOS chipset with an EEPROM burner.
