It happens that this motherboard has a 370 serial
socket empty (no microprocessor) and next to it a
vertical Intel CPU socket. These ones intel apparently
got on the market and did not work
that well.
Looking in the manual, there is no such a socket,
though the manual states that Intel Celeron is
supported. The procedure for inserting the CPU states
to insert the CPU in the 370 socket, nothing about the
vertical socket. There is no picture of such a socket
in the manual. I would like to make sure that I can
flash the BIOS without any problems related to this
CPU on the motherboard.

Saludos,
Thanks a lot, I already knew the the manufacturer og my motherboard.
My question was if you think that having a CPU socket that is not shown on the manual would interfere with flashing the bios.

Your web site shows two types for this BIOS ID string

Todas las BIOS Conocidas para el Modelo P3/370A-VP de Taiwan Commate
y
Todas las BIOS Conocidas para el Modelo 370A-VP de Taiwan Commate

which one should I use and what version, because I was going to use
Model 370A-VP 370AVP14.BIN from the Taiwan Commate
ftp site and according to your site version 1.1, that is, 370AVP14.BIN is dated 12/26/2000
and 370AVP13.BIN is the latest version.

My undestanding is that 370AVP14.BIN is the latest and
370AVP12.BIN is the earliest.

if you have a 1.6 version would you be so kind and send it to me
fbetancort@hotmail.com

Thanks,
