I have destroyed my bios (Award v4.51PG, i430VX-2A59H) when flashing it. Can I use a bios chip (also Award v4.51) from different mobo (say, 486 mobo) to flash it with saved bios file and use with 586 mobo? When we flash bios, does the flasher replace everything inside the bios?

Generally speaking ... NO do not swap a bios from another board. The reasons are chipset differences, timings and whole lot of other things that won't match. Either try a hot flas per faqs or get a new chip burned loacally or try Bad Flash.
